KAT’s aluminium internal doors are powder coated in a durable, low maintenance black matt finish. All that is needed is a wipe clean with warm soapy water from time to time, to ensure they continue to look good for many years to come.
Aluminium is strong and relatively lightweight, which means that doors and screens can be made taller and wider than a typical wooden internal door. Another advantage of choosing aluminium over timber for internal doors is that the aluminium sightlines are slimmer, allowing for more glass and less frame.

We fit a roller ball door catch with a fixed black handle to our internal glazed single doors and to the lead door on our internal double doors. The doors can then simply be pulled open and pushed closed without operating a lever handle. On double doors, the secondary door is fitted with a discreet fingerbolt at the top of the door.
A full length black ‘channel’ handle is fitted to our internal pivot doors and glazed sliding doors and can be fitted to our single and double doors, if preferred.
We offer a soft-close option for internal sliding doors as an optional feature.

Doors can be supplied with a lock box, secured by two transoms and opened and closed by means of a black handle. Please note that when choosing a lockable internal glazed door, your design will incorporate a minimum of two horizontal bars, as shown.
